Crows - A sequence Haiku

To the tree below
The crows have called each other
For morning counsel

As the sun stretches
These heavyweights on dead limbs
Cry, haw, haw, haw, haw

Haw, haw, haw, haw, then
Three forms become still as black
Paper silhouettes

Inspired by my observation of birds
communicating at the base of Prairie Hill
one hot morning.  :)

    HAW. HAW. HAW. HAW.
I wonder what they were saying.
San, I really love the crows silhouette. Can I ask you, is it a painting AND also a cut-out?

    1. I wonder what haw means? ;)
So it's a paper-cut, laid on white paper and it cast that shadow outside because it was not glued down. I really enjoyed the effect.
